Can I access Preqin data via Snowflake or Amazon Web Services?

Yes. Preqin Data is listed on both Snowflake Marketplace and Amazon Web Services.

How does Operational API integrate with enterprise data pipelines and analytics platforms?

Preqin Operational API is designed for system‑to‑system integration, so teams can script and automate pulls into enterprise pipelines rather than relying on manual exports. Clients commonly ingest API outputs into downstream analytics environments and combine Preqin data with internal sources to support decision‑making.

What formats, delivery methods, and update frequencies are supported for automated ingestion? 

Operational API endpoints return JSON responses for programmatic ingestion, while the Feeds API is optimized for bulk transfer and returns CSV streams. Both support automated scheduled refreshes (e.g., nightly/weekly), and Feeds guidance explicitly notes timing daily calls to pick up the newest refresh.

How is API access secured, authenticated, and monitored? 

Access is secured via tokenbased authentication: clients authenticate to a token endpoint to obtain a timelimited Bearer token, which must be included in every API request, and traffic is over HTTPS.

What controls are available to manage API keys, permissions, and usage across teams? 

Access is governed through licensing, so clients can only make requests to endpoints they’re subscribed to. API credentials include client credentials (client ID/secret) or an API username + API key for token issuance, enabling centralized provisioning and controlled rotation.

How does Preqin support regulatory compliance and internal governance requirements for enterprise clients?

Preqin Enterprise Data Solutions are designed to align with the regulatory and internal governance requirements faced by institutional clients. Preqin provides transparency into data sources, methodologies, and update processes, supporting auditability, risk oversight, and compliance workflows, while allowing clients to integrate the data into their own controlled environments.

Can I integrate Preqin data into my system if I am on a trial account?

We do not offer this option at the moment. However, we have other solutions where you can access sample data from Preqin, such as Snowflake and AWS.
